BBA PUBLIC HEARING 12.06.2005

Belmont BioAg presented its project in a public forum that BBA sponsored at the Belmont High School gymnasium the evening of December 6, 2005. A crowd estimated at 450 people used a card format, chosen by BBA for the evening, to present questions that could be answered following the formal presentations. Presenters included Bob Brodbeck, president of Belmont BioAg; Mike Valentine, vice president Earth Tech, Inc.; Randy Wodrich, senior program director, Earth Tech, Inc.; and Russell Anderson of the Wisconsin DNR, supervisor for the project. Tim Baye, Lafayette BioAg CEO, also assisted in answering questions.

Many questions were submitted, too many to answer at the meeting. All questions appropriate to the project, even those answered from the floor during the meeting, were answered in documentation that BBA sent out to appropriate public personnel to share with interested constituents, including to the Belmont public library. Answers also included support documentation submitted by the project's engineers, which addressed the BBA wells and traffic.

Belmont BioAg thanks citizens from the surrounding area for their interest in the project and for posing questions that allow sharing information to assist in understanding this complex project. Communication is key to being good neighbors.
