Quite the contrary, the Belmont campus will help revitalize local family farms by creating a new market for a range of products including feeder cattle, corn, and cultivated biomass crops. Small businesses that service agriculture like livestock haulers, grain elevators, and veterinarians, will also find new business with the campus.
